December the prefect time to buy a Renault Koleos

November 2011

While December is usually reserved for buying toys and festive foods, it has also proven to be one of the best times to purchase a new Renault car.

Christmas often signals the start of an intense year-end sale period, with Renault dealers focused on clearing current model-year stock.

Cars can take a considerable amount of time to be transported to Australia - up to three months for some European marques such as Renault.

So when they do arrive, dealerships must move quickly to clear them before the year's end.

This of course is good news for the buyer, as a car with last year's build plate is traditionally harder to shift come January.

According to AOL Auto, those few trading days between Christmas and December 31 are crucial for anyone in the market for a new car.

The arrival of upcoming models can also prompt activity for a certain manufacturer.

Renault's updated-for-2012 Renault Koleos SUV is now on sale in Australia - and Renault Australia CEO Justin Hocevar believes new features and limited price changes will appeal to potential buyers.

"We are confident that the attractive body, attractive feature list and attractive price points for these new models will result in far more Renault Koleos crossovers exploring the great Australian countryside in the very near future," he said.
